On Friday 5 November our friend and director of the Future "Fortin Cañuelas" of the Vuelta de Obligado Patricios, Gustavo Recalt, presented his first book in the Cine-Teatro canes. The same is titled: "Manuel Dorrego, a path covered with thorns"
During the course of the event, historians Dr. Fernando Barba and Dr. Emir Raitano, both from the Universidad Nacional de La Plata, stressed the author's personality and recommended reading of this important work.
is a brief reference to the public performance of Colonel Don Manuel Dorrego. In the work of Recalt are considered quasi-prophetic those words of his "path is covered with thorns," since nothing is conceptually closer to the life path that he had to travel. It was possible to focus the subject by highlighting several interesting features of his personality, as well as the implications of their public events. Through this work the reader a clear and comprehensive idea about the time lived by Dorrego, about his career and the events that led to such a tragic end.

Recalt a BA in History, graduated from the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences, National University of La Plata. In 2009 he started the courses for the education of PhD course in that house of studies. Since 1999 is responsible for the Museum and Archives of the City of Cañuelas. Attached is graduate of Argentina I Chair of History at the Universidad Nacional de La Plata. His research interests fall in Argentina's economic and social issues, specializing in eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, moving into the social-agrarian problem. His publications include: The incidence of thistles in the rural tasks century XIX Gaudério Cures in the Silver and area of \u200b\u200binfluence eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, and the history of the dairy industry in the Province of Buenos Aires.
