There is no other name

There is no other name under heaven.

Acts 4:12

The angel appeared to Joseph stressed the significance of the name of Jesus, "will bear a son and call his name JESUS: for he shall save His people from their sins "(Matt. 1:21). Jesus , Hebrew Joshua, or Jehoshua means "Jehovah saves." The name itself was a testimony of God's salvation. But the angel told Joseph that the Son Mary would be the very embodiment of the salvation of Jehovah. He would save his people from their sins.

After the resurrection of Jesus, Peter, speaking before the Sanhedrin, also stressed the importance of the name of Jesus Christ "And there is no other salvation there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved "(Acts 4:12).
